Weed Removal:
1. Center over weed
Center the steel prongs over the root of the weed. For best results, make sure the soil is damp down through the roots. If the soil is extremely hard, it is vital that you water thoroughly prior to weeding.

2. Insert
Push the steel prongs into the ground all the way to the base of the speedy weedy. It's easy. Simply lean forward and use your body weight. If it is too hard to push in, the area should be watered.

3. Twist!
Twist the handle in either direction until the root "gives" and no longer resists. This usually takes 1-3 sums-you'll develop a feel for it. In hard-packed areas, you may need to work the tool back and forth and left and right to loosen the soil before you twist. Don't force the tool.

4. Pull
Pull the speedy weedy out of the ground, twisting slightly as you lift. The weed will come up , root and all. In sandy or loose dirt, you may need to push down lightly to pack the soil before lifting.

5. Eject & Tap
To eject the weed, just press the plunger button on the handle. The weed will pop out. To conserve topsoil, eject the weed near the hole and tap the plug with the steel prongs of the speedy weedy to separate the soil from the roots.
